Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is hiring a Catalyst Operations Manager who will lead and manage field personnel, project managers, project coordinators, and administrative staff to ensure that Global upholds correct operational procedures and effectiveness in delivering Catalyst Screening Outage/Turnaround Services. This role is also responsible for protecting the financial integrity and safety of the company during outages and major projects. This position requires a team-oriented leader who will further develop and strengthen our outage team to meet the needs of our customers across the nation.

Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities specializing in hydroblasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of environmental services which include but are not limited to emergency spill response, soil remediation, tank cleaning, soft-dig services, waste transportation, and disposal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate work schedules/manpower needs.
- Coordinate equipment needs.
- Follow Global’s policies, safety, practices, and procedures for all projects managed.
- Direct interactions with staff providing leadership and management to maintain and develop the staff.
- Complete administrative tasks such as customer requests, job packs, project coordination, and status reports.
- Communicates and reviews disciplinary practices to supervisors and staff to ensure consistency.
- Track and manage financials regarding outages and other catalyst-related projects.
- Directly meet with and train personnel on catalyst screening and other outage-related services that Global provides.
- Assist, as needed, the sales department with maintaining and improving customer relations.
- Assist, as needed, with outage estimations and proposals.
- Excellent understanding of catalyst screening/handling best practices and procedures.
- Direct the setup and operation of the catalyst screening machines.
- Manage project timesheets, equipment logs, and inventory during outages and other catalyst-related projects.
- Ensure the retention of quality employees and provide training necessary for career development.
- Control and manage the cost of outages and other catalyst-related projects.
- Ensures the completion and quality of all tasks performed by staff.
- Uphold and enforce OSHA guidelines and Global’s safety policies.
- Inform employees of job duties and expectations.
- Perform other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years’ experience managing and scheduling employees to perform Industrial outage work preferred.
- 8 years’ experience in catalyst screening and handling is required.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and be able to interface with employees at all levels of the company. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or University is preferred, or equivalent field experience in the catalyst screening industry.
