What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A Tanker / Hazmat Endorsed ER Truck Driver position at Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC?
Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is hiring Class A tanker/hazmat-endorsed drivers to join our team. This position involves an estimated 90% driving and 10% manual labor (moving hoses, off-loading at facilities, onsite operations, etc.)

Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities with specialization in hydro blasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites, is collected, transported, and disposed of by local, state, and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Haul tankers with non-baffled tanks. Should be able to connect and disconnect hoses.
- Capable of hooking up cable to roll-off boxes and loading and unloading roll-off boxes onto roll-off trailer.
- Able to haul 53-foot van trailers. Have to be able to back the trailers into tight loading docks at waste facilities.
- Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
- Complete and sign waste manifests and submit them to the waste facility. Collect a copy of the manifest for record keeping.
- Will be called out for emergency response as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Class A CDL License is required.
- Tanker Endorsement is required.
- Hazmat Endorsement is required.
- 40-hour OSHA Training is required. Global will provide the training if the driver has not completed it.
- Current DOT Medical Card is required.
- Ability to carry/move up to 50 Lbs.
- Ability to perform manual labor in an outside setting.
- Ability to work over an 8-hour shift if required. Can be called out for an emergency response.
- Preferred 2-4 years of hands-on experience and operation with tools / heavy equipment.
- Must be able to pass a background check /drug test
- Must be registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
- A clean driving record is required for this position.
Commission Pay:
- 27% Commission - Our drivers on average earn $1,500-$2,000 /week.
- Pay guarantee of $900/week (whichever is greater)
- This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary-paid position.
