What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving/warehousing position at Global Environmental Products Ltd.?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary responsibility of this position includes assisting the owner in everyday tasks, processing orders using QuickBooks Manufacturing software, creating packing lists and bill of ladings, scheduling freight pick-ups, preparing orders for shipments and creating and sending invoices. Also, in this role you will be the main contact for the customers, answering questions regarding their order. Will also perform warehouse duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree is preferred and/or 2 years work experience.
- QuickBooks Manufacturing software.
- Customer Service experience.
- Shipping & Receiving experience, including preparation of Bill of Lading and Packing List.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work in a warehouse without supervision.
- Quick learner and ability to multitask .
- Excellent communication and computer knowledge.
- High energy and disciplined to work with minimum supervision.
- Competitive, confident and assertive with a strong work ethic.
- Problem-solving and mechanically-oriented with the confidence to recommend solutions.
- Fork Lift skills preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
