Job Summary
The Busser supports the front-of-house team by maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. This role is responsible for clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers and guests, and ensuring the dining area is always tidy and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear used dishes, utensils, and glassware from tables promptly.
- Clean and reset tables in a timely manner for incoming guests.
- Refill water glasses and respond to guest requests as needed.
- Assist servers with delivering food, condiments, and additional items to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and restrooms.
- Empty trash and restock supplies such as napkins, silverware, and condiments.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude when appropriate.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the ministry and its objectives.
Education and Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- ServSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, employees will frequently be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally, and more than 40 pounds infrequently with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
