Job Summary
The Front of House (FOH) Manager leads all front-of-house operations, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and guest-centered dining experience that reflects our mission of hospitality and excellence. This position oversees the host, server, and bussing teams, ensuring all staff are well-trained, engaged, and aligned with our values. The FOH Manager works closely with the kitchen and leadership teams to deliver a seamless and memorable experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and support front-of-house team members to ensure high levels of service, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Champion a culture of warmth, service, and hospitality that aligns with the organization's values.
- Train and develop FOH staff, providing clear expectations, feedback, and coaching.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings and ensure team readiness for service.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper ambiance.
- Address guest concerns with grace, urgency, and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and back-of-house managers to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage front-of-house inventory including uniforms, menus, and service supplies.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of FOH team members.
- Support special events and catering operations as needed.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the ministry and its objectives.
Education and Experience
- 3 years of restaurant front-of-house experience, with 1 year in a leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic scheduling software
- Flexible availability, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- ServSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)

Physical Requirements
