What You’ll Do – Position Summary:
As Construction Coordinator Intern, you’ll be mostly responsible for working closely within the Construction Department to guarantee customer requests are handled quickly and efficiently and of course, up to customer satisfaction. You’ll also handle follow ups and updates. In this role, you’ll process customer requests for Construction services making sure they’re in line with established department policies and procedures, and you’ll guarantee satisfactory completion of the services.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer requests for Construction services according to established department policies and procedures.
- Confirms satisfactory completion of required services.
- Coordinates schedules with vendors, stores, and other parties as required for project completion within client deadlines.
- Contacts malls, landlords or property managers to confirm work requirements.
- Provide clients with updates on project status through email or third-party technology.
- Provide timely feedback to project managers regarding service updates and follow ups with vendors.
- Provided administrative support, i.e. (Faxes, assist with bids & quotes, input orders as required).
- Responsible for all paperwork involved in project close outs.
- Maintain databases.
- Process high volume of data and calls.
Skills & Experience:
- One year of experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Time management: The ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects.
- Work well independently and as a team member in a fast-paced office.
- Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, and good judgment.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
- Expertise in using Outlook, Excel, and Internet research tools.
- Bilingual a plus.
