Delivery Contractor

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Contractor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks.
• Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
• Handle any customer inquiries or issues professionally and promptly.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

Have a box truck with functioning lift gate!

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Pay: From $4,500.00 per week
