Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Duties

• Drive company vehicles to deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of items.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adapting as needed based on traffic conditions or delivery requirements.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is beneficial.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is advantageous.
• Experience with courier services or logistics operations is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
