REQUIRED SKILLS | Minimum Qualifications: - 7 years with Microsoft SQL Server (2016-2022) in an enterprise-level environment, including setup, security, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning
- 5 years Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines
- 5 years Cloud Platform Engineering experience in an enterprise-level environment
- Advanced proficiency with Python, SQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bicep/Terraform, PowerShell is required. Deep understanding and hands on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management automation tools is required
- 5 years of DevOps experience with a clear understanding of related tools, structure, and processes working in an Agile/Scrum setting
- 3 years leading the end-to-end design and development of scalable services to be consumed by the enterprise, including monitoring and production support
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cloud services such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, SQL, CosmosDB, Data Factory, Event Hub, Functions, Batch, Key Vault, Managed Identity, Service Principal, Networking, Active Directory, Log Analytics, Monitoring
- Windows and Linux server/systems administration experience is highly desired
- Azure Administrator certification, Solution Architect, or Databricks Platform Administrator certification, Snowflake SnowPro certification is a strong plus
- Familiarity with microservices software architecture
- Experience with Azure cost management and forecasting is desired
