What are the responsibilities and job description for the Racing- Program Coordinator position at GLOBAL GAMING RP LLC?
General Definition: This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Remington Park Racing office during live racing seasons. As the Program Coordinator, this position oversees all editing information pertaining to the racing and training program.

Essential Job Functions:
- Complies a program of information through Race Track Office Manager software
- Responsible for daily recap for racing sec.
- Create and edit silks in and out daily
- Review and monitor peg #s
- Make any necessary phone calls to verify information as needed to finalize proofs
- Working with other racing staff to assist in taking racing entries, transfers, answering multi line phone calls
- Maintain a log of incoming documents from racing participants and or racing staff.
- Receive changes and scratches from stewards and making edits to proof
- Required to email scratch list to racing staff and officials. Update scratch information into Equibase.
- Generate a recap draft for racing secretary to review prior to print and distribution of 4x9 version.
- Make any changes to recap as requested by racing secretary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Completion of high school diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements of horse racing
- Strong written, oral communication and leadership skills required.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Skill in data entry with minimal errors.
- Operational Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products (Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Prior experience with Race Track Manager software preferred
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
- Demonstrated ability on completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to be resourceful to aid in horsemens requests
- Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to enter a smoke-filled environment as needed
Training and Experience:
- Must be able to pass Title 31 Training
- 2 years of clerical/administrative experience
- 1-2 years with horse racing operations
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test with a negative result
