DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greets and welcomes guests to the dining room.
Escorts and provides seating in appropriate areas to ensure dining room staff is not overloaded.
Provides direction to Servers and Bus staff as needed to ensure stations and tables are cleaned and ready to accept new guests.
At regular times will be required to move tables and chairs to set area for guests.
Relieves Cashier as may be required throughout the shift.
Follows all dining room operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
Requires knowledge, skills, and experience in dining room management, decision-making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and customer service.
Notifies appropriate staff members when assistance is needed.
Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty.
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.
One to two years of work experience in job dealing in person and on the telephone directly with guests would be preferable.
