Description
The Revenue Auditor supports the finance department at GGS, LSP, LLC, by reviewing and reporting the Company’s revenue and statistical financial analysis to ensure the daily compliance requirements are met.
Essential Job Functions:
- Receives all revenue related transaction reports with associated supporting documents.
- Reconciles the reports to support documents in accordance with established internal controls.
- Coordinates with Manager concerning discrepancies and proposed adjustments to be made.
- Provide excellent internal Customer Service to other Departments.
- Compiles all reports pertaining to the daily audit operations and distributes in accordance with the distribution list.
- Files all documents and computer report for future reference.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
- Provides administrative support to all finance and executive leadership.
- Ensures the submission of daily revenue and wagering machine reports as required by applicable protocols.
- Responds to the appropriate departments with training and follow-up to mitigate future occurrences.
- Examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of processes.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Proficient in customer service
- The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented. Be able to demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, as well as within a team environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft office programs.
- Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Training:
- Must be able to pass Title 31Training
- One (1) to two (2) years’ prior mutuels wagering, gaming, or other betting industry experience is preferred but not required.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test with a negative result
