Description
General Definition:
- Inserting and removing chips from each Saddle Towel
Essential Job Functions:
- Insert GPS Tracker Chips into Saddle towels for each race. Input information into Lap Top.
- Responsible for removing chips from each Saddle Towel after each race and insuring Chips are recharged.
- This process is to be repeated throughout the Race Day.
- Place finish line beam before races and bring back for charging after the races.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year related experience and/or training; or combination.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of horseracing industry.
- Ability to read, count, write and perform basic math.
- Ability to recognize the need to coordinate effort; be reliable in following through on requests and commitments.
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and management clearly and accurately.
Training:
- 1 year work related experience and/or training; or combination.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions
- Texas Racing Commission License (TXRC)

- Noise levels will be varied from moderate to heavy machinery
