Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Global Business Development Director to lead our efforts in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the life sciences industry on a global scale. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global business development strategy, driving revenue growth, and establishing strategic partnerships that align with Global Group Inc.'s long-term objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement a comprehensive global business development strategy to expand market reach, drive revenue growth, and enhance Global Group Inc.'s competitive position.
  • Identify and prioritize key target markets, therapeutic areas, and technologies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Opportunity Identification and Evaluation:Proactively identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including licensing agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic alliances.
  • Conduct due diligence and assess the financial viability and strategic fit of potential deals.
  • Relationship Management:Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the life sciences industry, including pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, academic institutions, and investors.
  • Represent Global Group Inc. at industry conferences, partnering meetings, and other events.
  • Deal Negotiation and Execution:Lead cross-functional teams in the negotiation and execution of complex business development transactions.
  • Oversee the development of deal structures, term sheets, and definitive agreements.
  • Ensure successful deal closure and integration.
  • Team Leadership and Development:Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years of progressive experience in business development within the life sciences industry, with a proven track record of success in leading and closing complex transactions.
  • Global Perspective: Extensive experience working in a global business environment with a deep understanding of different cultural nuances and regulatory landscapes.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, build consensus, and drive results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.


Compensation and Benefits

Global Group Inc. offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, including a base salary, performance-based bonus, comprehensive health benefits, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional development.
