Job Summary :
The District Manager will be responsible for the oversight of 10 convenience stores within Rockport, ME. People development, overall operations and profitability for the assigned locations are the focus of the role. This position will lead by example by fostering a safe, friendly, fast, customer-centric and encouraging team culture and work environment, all while providing their team with continuous education on the importance of quality customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Ability to drive between locations
- Take pride and ownership in the development of store-level leadership to build a team that is engaged, consistent with the brand, and create a well-trained, well-rounded talent pipeline for succession planning.
- Build and maintain professional and profitable business relationships with store-level leadership to serve as a liaison and effectively be able to bridge the communication.
- Conduct efficient operations and continuously seek to improve profit margin.
- Be a self-driven leader with a proven track record of delivering results by maximizing long-term sales growth.
- Manage and create sustainable business relationships with suppliers to ensure maximum product and vendor productivity.
- Create a team culture that is highly involved in the communities we serve.
- Responsible for achieving and effectively communicating required P&L numbers for store locations.
- Utilize available reports and resources to identify opportunities, ensure that correct operational procedures are followed.
- In depth knowledge of OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies to ensure compliance. Ability to conduct random inspections of convenience stores.
- Enable and empower growth by providing constructive feedback to team, leading by example, and fostering a customer-driven sense of urgency.
- Always demonstrate and communicate the importance of safety in the workplace for both employees and guests.
- Set the example for recognition and actively work on inspiring the team.
