FORKLIFT DRIVER SECOND SHIFT

We are a mature but growing company headquartered in Seattle, WA and currently have an outstanding opportunity for an individual to join our team in Akron, CO as a Forklift Operator. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all inbound and outbound loads are processed according to company and customer policies.
Shift: 2st Shift Monday - Friday 2:00PM to 12PM Midnight
The primary tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Loads and unloads outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Picks and stages orders and loads for shipment.
• Performs physical inventory counts of finished products and ingredients.
• Prepares all outgoing shipment paperwork including Bills of Lading.
• Inspects lifts and forklifts on a daily basis.
• Performs equipment maintenance as directed.

Qualifications:

• At least one year working with a sit-down forklift.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
• Must have the ability to understand, read and write basic English.
• A minimum 6 – 12 months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight, volume, and distance.
• Able to comfortably lift 60 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate forklifts.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and team-oriented, with strong communication skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour ($18.50 - $21.00 per hour plus $1.50 night differential).  
Expected hours: 40 per week
