Global Home Health Care is looking for an experienced administrator or office manager to manage and run this company. We are a home health provider that services all through out Southern California.
The team is looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for care and values honesty and commitment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assumes the accountability, responsibility and administrative authority of directing employees.
- Directs leadership meetings and implements in-service training sessions for all staff.
- Reviews and interprets monthly financial statements with department managers. Ensures compliance within budgetary parameters and contract negotiations.
- Acts as a liaison between managed care companies and the home health agency (HHA)
- Develops and implements effective marketing strategies with internal team.
- Ensures compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines and standards.
- Process referrals and staffing disciplines.
- Pre Billing (makes sure that patients charts are ready for billing)
- Follow up with nurses as needed
- Verifies payables and receivables as needed
Requirements:
- Has admin/manager experience with running a home health company
- Must possess strong employee relations, team building, and management skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse population of residents, families, doctors, and corporate leadership.
- Good leadership and organizational skills.
- Has CA Driver's License
- Bachelor’s Degree in health care administration, business administration, finance, or a medical specialty preferred.
- 2 years of experience as a Licensed Administrator in a Home Health Agency
- Knowledge of Medicaid/ Medicare regulations and standards.
- Expertise in cost reporting, P & L, and budget compliance.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse population of residents, families, doctors, and corporate leadership.
- Ability to understand and communicate facility metrics to acute hospitals, IPAs and managed care groups.
- Must possess strong employee relations, team building, and management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.46 - $23.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
