Direct Support Professional

Job Summary

Minimum Requirement:

• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic computer skills.
• CPR/First Aid Certifications (Required)
• PMT Certification (Required)
• Med. Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

-provides a variety of personalized services tailored to the needs of individuals in their homes and in their communities

-Support includes personal care, assistance with medical and personal appointments, vocational services, participation in community activities, in-home supports, and other tasks tailored to meet individual goals.

- Ensures program maintenance and evaluation by adhering to Global Horizon Care Services' policies and procedures. Responsibilities include collecting, recording, and charting data, with a focus on maintaining accurate electronic records.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff to ensure the well-being of individuals

-Carry out additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
