Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status, documenting changes accurately.
- Provide education and health coaching to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist in laboratory testing and interpretation of results related to patient care.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Support patients with dementia through compassionate care techniques tailored to their needs.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in urgent care, senior care, or internal medicine preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and laboratory procedures is advantageous.
- Previous experience in teaching hospitals or similar healthcare environments is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with nursing practices.
