For over 70 years Global Industrial has been an industry leader providing private label and brand name industrial equipment and supplies to businesses throughout North America.
We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.
- Partners with manager to develop and execute strategies for their assigned business
- Strong time management and organization of data and product information to ensure on time and accurate execution of plans
- Develop sales forecast for new products/category, analyze and monitors sales trend, variances and issues and execute aligned actions to drive sales

- Defines problems and seeks solutions by examining issues and ideas through inquiry, analysis, dialogue and evaluation
- Accountable for assigned Category P&L within the framework of their manager's and division's goals.
- Assist in identifying category trends and insights by evaluating competitive products, market share, pricing, advertising, and maintaining department databases with findings.
- Takes intiative to become SME, curiously investigating and learning
- Execute with a high sense of urgency in a fast and agile environment
- Data analytics skills to be able to mine data, understand the drivers of your business
- Maintains strong, effective relationships with cross-functional team and Vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years' experience in Product Management or related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Understanding of industrial distribution, sales metrics, business fundamentals, merchandising strategies and assortment planning
- Solid interpersonal skills to both written and verbal
- Stong time management and project management skills
