Job purpose
Responsible for operations of the Distribution Center and the supervision of all Distribution Center employees.
Our General Manager will lead a staff of customer care members and warehouse team members and oversees responsibilities that include several key areas of our business:
Customer Service – managing a staff of Customer Care Representatives.
Vendor Relations – maintaining positive relationships with customers and logistics vendors.
General Operations – Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, HR, Facilities, and Warehousing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Overall client service, financial and operational responsibility
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Manage inventory levels in accordance with sales demand
- Monitor warehouse team to include all inventory movement in and out of facility
- Responsible for accuracy of weekly product cycle counts
- Train, coach, develop, and encourage local customer care team
- Evaluate/oversee all local vendor relationships for overall best value
- Work with local sales team to create best possible customer experience
- Some Human Resources responsibilities

- Sales oriented, with a customer-driven mindset

- Demonstrated ability to manage all financial and operational management aspects of a multimillion-dollar business
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 6-10 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military experience.
