Job Title : Sr. Editor

Job Location : Remote

Job Description :

  • Curate and program news content for the AOL app, including headline writing, video programming, and push notifications.
  • Support breaking news coverage across desktop, mobile, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate on special projects related to editorial development and growth.
  • Help execute content coverage plans for major events (tentpole events) across various categories, including News, Entertainment, Sports, and more.
  • Closely monitor and analyze metrics and analytics to stay in tune with evolving audience interests.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in editorial roles, with a focus on content curation and programming.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, particularly for web and mobile platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with editorial, product, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with news coverage and content planning for large-scale events.
