Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Developer to contribute to the development of a client-side application using C# and .NET technologies. This position focuses on implementing user interfaces, developing communication components, and integrating third-party APIs. The Senior Developer will work closely with architects and other team members to ensure the application meets performance, usability, and integration requirements.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with C#, .NET, and client-side development, as well as knowledge of integration with web services and mapping APIs. This role is ideal for someone with significant development experience looking to contribute to a large-scale application.
Key Responsibilities
• Client-Side Development: Develop and enhance application features using C#, WinForms, and WPF to provide a smooth user experience.
• Communication Services: Implement Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) components to support client-server interactions.
• Web Services Integration: Work on integrating web services using Software AG Entire X Broker Toolkit, Java, and WebSphere for back-end connectivity.
• Mapping API Integration: Integrate with Bing Map Server API to deliver location-based functionality within the application.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure client-side performance and stability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects and developers to ensure application components align with the overall architecture and project goals.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in C# and .NET: 5-7 years of experience in C# development within the .NET framework, with a focus on client-side application development.
• Experience with WinForms and WPF: Knowledge of building responsive user interfaces.
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF): Experience with WCF for developing client-server communication components.
• Web Services Integration: Experience with integrating web services using:
o Software AG Entire X Broker Toolkit and Java for backend communication.
o WebSphere for connecting to enterprise services.
• Bing Map Server API: Familiarity with the Bing Map Server API for adding mapping functionality
Desired Qualifications:
• UI/UX Knowledge: Basic understanding of UI/UX best practices for client applications.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Familiarity with testing tools, such as NUnit or MSTest, for quality assurance.
