Job Title: Full Time- Technical Administrator Level 1/2 - Systems & Network
Reports to: Senior Admin, Technical & Operations Managers
Mon-Fri 8 am-5pm with occasional weekend work (Over-time)
Location: San Francisco, CA, with occasional travel to/or around the Greater Area. Initial training will be conducted in remotely with our headquarters office in Whittier, CA.

Desired experience:
· Having worked in or alongside or in IT and demonstrates exemplary customer service skills
· B.S. in Computer Science, equivalent or working towards experience
· Experience supporting users/systems in a distributed enterprise network
· In-depth knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless networking technologies
· System recovery, backup processes and disaster recovery planning
· Implementing and supporting virtual server environments
· Using Microsoft products for centralized management of logging, monitoring, policy changes, and software deployments
· Expertise with Windows and Active Directory security and overall best practices
· Development, maintenance, and deployment of standard computer images
· Is readily available after-hours if needed
Description of Duties and Tasks:
· Constructing and installing low voltage cabling
· Diagnosing hardware and software problems
· Ensure that policies and procedures relating to PCI compliance are updated
· External contact with customers, vendors, and hotel guests
· Keep updated with latest technologies and security risks regularly
· Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies (cables, adapters, etc.)
· Microsoft knowledge a must, and Cisco networking knowledge is preferred
· Repairing/upgrading PC hardware and software
· Routine Maintenance Installing/configuring new computers/telephones
· Technology infrastructure support
· Deploy, manage, monitor and support all end-user devices throughout the enterprise, including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, scanners, printers and video-conferencing system.
· Monitor and support file, print, web, and database server systems, including AD domain controllers.
· Support network/telecom hardware, including routers, switches, CPE, and phone systems.
· Identify and resolve issues with servers and end-user devices in a timely manner, minimizing impact on the business. Communicate with end users, providing timely updates on outstanding issues. Maintain ownership of all issues and requests until successfully completed.
· Create, maintain, disable, reset and delete user accounts and passwords.
· Ensure that users have continuous access to e-mail, intranet, the public Internet, and other crucial business applications.
· Maintain standard computer images for deployment, upgrade and replacement of systems.
· Ensure computer systems and end-user devices are current with critical updates and malware protection to maintain security, reliability, and supportability.
· Establish and comply with formal change management procedures and update service tickets.
· Work closely with Information Security team to ensure systems are implemented and maintained in accordance with best practices and corporate policies. Assist with the annual activities required to validate PCI compliance as directed by the IT Management and Information Security team.
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company material and information.
· Review processes, procedures, and technologies to improve quality, efficiency, and/or system reliability.
· Keep abreast of new technologies; evaluate and report on new technologies and initiatives as directed by IT Management.
· Perform regular and emergency backup operations on system infrastructure as needed.
· Keep Manager and key personnel informed of assignment and system status via timely communication and weekly written reports.
· Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
· Weekends, holiday, and nighttime support will be required, as necessary.
· Make recommendations for improvements
· Ensure that hotel staff, guests, and clients have continuous access to the intranet, public internet, and other crucial business applications.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, and Abilities:
Ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and listening skills. Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall and VPN applications. Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Management, and Implementations. Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications
A minimum of Three (3) years active working experience with in MSP or within a large IT team
A minimum of two (2) years of unsupervised experience
Supervisor experience is a plus
Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred but not required)
Industry-accredited certifications that demonstrate technical knowledge is required

Physical demands - running wires in the ceilings, climbing ladders, lifting and moving printers, UPS and computers
