Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Developer with expertise in Java, Node.js, Cloud-Native Development, AWS Lambda, and AWS CDK to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have 10 years of experience in software development, cloud technologies, and building scalable, high-performance applications in AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, and IAM.
- Utilize AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure as code.
- Develop serverless and microservices-based architectures using AWS.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Java and Node.js code for cloud-based applications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Ensure security, scalability, and high availability of cloud applications.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance cloud applications for performance and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay up to date with AWS best practices, emerging cloud technologies, and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in software development with expertise in Java and Node.js.
- Strong experience in AWS cloud services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with AWS CDK for infrastructure automation.
- Expertise in serverless computing and microservices architectures.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS/EKS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and debugging cloud applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or AWS DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
- Experience working in the airline or travel industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSocket s, or Event-Driven Architectures is a plus.
