Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Job Type: Full-time/Contract
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer. As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining ABAP code for SAP applications, enhancing and customizing the SAP system according to business requirements, and ensuring seamless integration with various SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows based on business requirements.
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform system debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to ABAP code and functionality.
- Customize and enhance SAP standard applications to meet business needs (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, etc.).
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications as part of the frontend development.
- Design and implement data migration strategies, using LSMW, BAPIs, BDC, and IDocs.
- Maintain and optimize existing ABAP programs and reports for performance improvements.
- Integrate SAP with other systems using various interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services, etc.).
- Collaborate with the SAP Basis team to ensure the smooth functioning of the SAP environment.
- Support SAP upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting in ABAP-related issues during system updates.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and project timelines.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (X years) in ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, or HR.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming concepts, performance optimization, and debugging techniques.
- Hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, and/or SAP Fiori development.
- Familiarity with SAP integration tools (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Web Services).
- Experience with SAP Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 application development.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database and its integration with ABAP.
- Experience with SAP BASIS and system configuration is a plus.
- SAP certifications in ABAP or related areas are an advantage.
