Kennel Technician
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time available, Hourly

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and passionate Kennel Technician to serve as an integral part of the GK9PG Team.
Responsibilities:
- Feed animals as prescribed by Kennel Manager
- Groom and bath canines
- Assist doctors and kennel manager with the administration of medications or with patient restraint
- Assist Veterinarians
- Collect urine and fecal specimens
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kennel area each day and carry out according to the schedule: daily, weekly, and monthly etc.
- Ability to follow a regular schedule for cleaning and sanitizing, using chemicals and supplies: including but not limited to kennel area, cages, runs, wards and related areas; changes litter boxes and food/water bowls
- Recognize and report any unusual condition or abnormal behavior
- Participate in all staff and training meetings
- Communicate with staff members

- Physical:
- Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. (Assistance provided from other staff members in lifting animals over 40 lbs)
- Walking and standing for extended periods of times
- Working frequently in a bent position
- Environmental:
- May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises, and animal feces.
- Loud; dogs barking
