The assistant principal serves to offer comprehensive support to the principal, teachers, staff, students and the community. Their role involves proactively fostering a resilient, felxible and approachable demeanor to in still trust and cultivate a positive enviroment. They prioritize maintianing visibilty, constructivefeedback and expressing appreciation. Most importantly, organozation skills and ability to ensure completion of daily tasks. Balancing the demands of the position with personal responsibilities is significant to this role. They provide instructional support, analyze data, design, implement and monitor the efficacy of instructional programs.
THE POSITION:
We are looking for an Assistant Principal who will join our High School Campus team.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may include, but not limited to the following)
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Oversees the daily work of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Observe and provide feedback to teachers regularly.
- Collect and analyze data to drive instructional decisions.
- Oversee academic and behavioral interventions
- Provide support to teachers with instructional strategies and lesson planning.
- Engage in activities to promote parent and community involvement.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to build a positive school clutre and climate
- Any and all duties assigned to support the principal, students and school as a whole.
- Communicate often and with purpose, listen well.

- Build relationships with staff, parents and students, establish trust
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Have good time management skills, prioritize tasks, and establish a health work-life balance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificated to teach in Florida
- Must have 5 years of related experience
TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree required, master’s degree in educational leadership preferred.

- The working environment is in a school setting
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
