We are looking for a Junior LIMS Developer to work in our Digital Labs DevOps team partnering with Quality Control laboratories across the world. Do you have a passion for IT in a global life sciences environment? Then we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
Working closely with developers to improve LIMS functionality
Act as a technical specialist for the Labvantage LIMS application with the LIMS IT DevOps team
Deliver new features, application changes and interfaces to other applications through configuration or customization
Contributing to various development projects and support rollouts LIMS to new sites
Assist with software updates, upgrades, and patches.
Work with Quality Control teams and other functions to turn new requirements into system designs, deliver and test the solutions to meet the requirements
Provide L2 technical support for Labvantage LIMS and associated interfaces
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality and configuration.
Follow IT processes and practice for development, changes and incidents ensuring completeness of all documentation and plans.
Who you are
Knowledge of Java development skills
Knowledge of SQL
Experience delivering customization/configuration changes in a LIMS application (ideally within Labvantage LIMS) would be beneficial
Experience working in a GxP validated environment would be beneficial
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
