Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, Communications Center Applications and Technology, the Intermediate Integration Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integrations between GMR's CAD systems and both internal and external platforms. This position supports successful integration initiatives involving Emergency Communication Centers, third-party systems, and internal software solutions. This role collaborates with cross-functional IT teams, Business Operations, and Communications Center leadership to facilitate interface and integration projects. Occasional travel within the United States (up to 10%) may be required.
Responsibilities :
- Attend Project Kick Off and Discovery to gain knowledge of business processes and requirements.
- Handles routine system integrations for GMR Communication Centers, utilizing basic technical knowledge and supporting project coordination efforts.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with vendors, GMR stakeholders and GMR external partners.
- Work cross-functionally with other internal IT teams at GMR, as well as external client teams.
- Configure integrations based on business requirements, consulting with senior team members.
- Schedule and conduct rigorous testing in collaboration with CAD Administrators and ensure required processes are operational, keeping senior team members updated throughout the process.
- Participate in peer reviews with CAD Administrators and Integration team prior to business sign off.
- Prepares integration-specific documentation.
- Responsible for ITSM requests and required documentation needed to establish initial connectivity, promote production installs, maintenance windows and other requests as needed.
- Provide maintenance and configuration changes as needed for integration solutions.
- Assist support with troubleshooting reported integration issues.
- This position does not require being on call. However, there may be instances where the specialist needs to provide assistance during an outage situation. Additionally, you may need to work after hours and weekends to support project go-lives, upgrades, and maintenance windows.
