This position is bonus eligible
Work Schedule : Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm CST
JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Claim Prep & File - Lead / Trainer works closely with the supervisor and manager to provide oversight and leadership to the team's employees. They help to ensure an overall high level of quality, efficiency, and productivity, while confirming all departmental goals are satisfactorily met. Responsibilities include leading, training, mentoring, and motivating team members daily. As a lead / trainer, you will be the primary contact for assigned staff .
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES
- Analyze work processes to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor trainee performance and report on metrics.
- Maintain a working knowledge of department processes and commercial payor regulations and trends.
- Assist with daily work distribution and monitor daily employee productivity.
- Assure processes and resources are allocated correctly to provide required coverage within given workflows assigned to the team.
