Work Schedule : M-F 8am-5pm CST
JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Hospital Records Retrieval Clerk works to obtain the hospital records needed to facilitate timely and accurate claim processing and appeals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES
- Obtains information to request records from hospital facilities.
- Faxes accurate requests for records to hospital.
- Identify accounts needing hospital records requested.
- Follows-up on records requested until records are obtained.
- Ensure records are documented in account and ready for next process.
