Georgia-based medical facility seeks a skilled physician to provide expert care for infectious disease patients.

About the Role:

• Provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest research, treatments, and best practices in infectious disease medicine.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and treat complex cases of infectious diseases, including antibiotic-resistant infections.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient history, medical status, and relevant factors.
3. Conduct thorough physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
4. Stay current on the latest developments in infectious disease medicine through ongoing education and professional development.

Requirements:

• Board certification in Infectious Disease or related field required.
• Active DEA registration necessary.
• Ability to respond promptly to calls (10-20 minutes) and work flexible hours, including days and call shifts.
