JOB SUMMARY :

The Graphic Designer in our E-commerce / Marketing department at Global plays a crucial role in creating and executing content across various digital platforms for a diverse roster of artists. This role is focused on amplifying our artists’ brands and delivering high-performing marketing assets that effectively engage target audiences. The ideal candidate will have a creative background in design and delivering innovative marketing assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

Design high-quality visual assets for digital, including website banners, social media graphics, email campaigns, album covers, merchandise, and promotional materials. In addition, successfully edit and retouch existing marketing assets within Global’s content database.

Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to create compelling product visuals that drive conversions and brand awareness while bringing artistic concepts to life and resonating with targeted audiences.

Develop branding materials and visual guidelines to maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms, the Global roster, and its various clients.

Remain up-to-date with design trends, particularly in the music and e-commerce industries, and apply them to our roster’s aesthetic.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required) with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in asset creation.

Vast knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro). Knowledge of Midjourney and / or other AI platforms is also preferred but not required.

Proven experience in e-commerce and / or the music industry and monitoring of trends creatively matched with a strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and overall design sensibility – a strong eye for aesthetics.

Proven ability to create compelling and original designs that captivate and engage audiences.

Proven record of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, correct branding, and overall quality across all creative assets delivered internally / externally.

Excellent project management abilities; capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

Passion for music and a keen eye for visual storytelling.

Added bonuses but not necessary – basic ability to animate assets and a baseline knowledge regarding being able to photograph / edit specific merchandise produced by Global, as needed.

Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions.

Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.

Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment.

Lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
