Qualifications
Foundation in quality control principles and practices
Familiarity with quality management systems
Dependable and acute attention to details
Ability to manage quality systems and ensure compliance to external auditors
Management skills to lead quality improvement
Analytical skills to identify and address quality issues efficiently
Desktop Computer Skills including competency in using Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to read and interpret specifications, and generate into working procedures or instructions
Good organizational skills and self motivated
Knowledge and use of digital calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the quality system and safety system
- Supervising quality inspectors in the fulfillment of their duties
- Ability to visually inspect parts and review measurement dimensions
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following Global Manufacturing quality standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related functions as needed.
- Complete all process documentation as required while maintaining traceability
- Collecting tools for calibration , maintaining calibration date logs and calendar schedules, approving and maintaining calibration certs
- Inventory Control Functions- management of stock rooms, maintaining bin locations within the inventory system, generating inventory counts as needed, posting inventory into the system, posting and pulling of short part orders
- Conduct training with the confines of the quality system
- Other additional duties as assigned by upper management
