Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Immunology Lab Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist in conducting laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses related to immunology, playing an important part in advancing our research efforts. You’ll be responsible for performing both routine and specialized lab procedures, including specimen processing, testing, reporting, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests related to immunology.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, solutions, and equipment.
- Process and analyze blood, tissue, and other biological samples.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, test results, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the optimization of lab protocols.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness in the lab and manage inventory of supplies and reagents.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Immunology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting, particularly in high-complexity testing, such as Molecular Biology, Transplant Immunology, Histocompatibility, Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Immunology, is strongly preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in immunological assays (such as ELISA, flow cytometry) and cell culture techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards such as CLIA and CGTP.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
