- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs, timelines, and repair options.
- Maintain inventory of tools and parts on service vehicle to ensure readiness for job assignments.
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and customer interactions.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards during service operations.
- Continuously update knowledge of diesel technology and repair techniques to provide top-notch service.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, with a focus on mobile service operations.
- A valid diesel mechanic certification or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile work environment.
