What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Global-Pak?
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new customers through cold calls based on company goals and strategies. They will service existing accounts, drive incremental revenue, and generate high potential prospects to be pushed out to the external sales team. The role involves supporting the company's sales goals through professional sales techniques and good customer service, maintaining quality relations with existing accounts, and providing sales and marketing coverage.
Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):
1. Develops maximum sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company's products and services as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses.
2. Receives customer inquiries, and performs follow up procedures to include providing price quotes, new product information, and receiving feedback regarding company products and services.
3. Builds and maintains quality relations with existing assigned accounts, and increases account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis as laid out in the expectations for inside sales.
4. Contacts customers via telephone, correspondence, as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals for the company.
5. Applies technical knowledge of company products and services to best meet customer needs.
6. Maintains appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts, using company provided tools (NetSuite) for each customer and reports this information as required to upper management.
7. Submits appropriate paperwork to management such as sales reports and call reports in accordance with training procedures.
8. Understands and supports company sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service to all customers, and foster the development of long term business relationships.
9. Assists and resolves customer complaints in a timely manner, notifies management of problems and suggests corrective actions. Adheres to the agreed upon Customer Complaint Procedure.
10. Creates customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements in an efficient manner.
11. Stays abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings, and new technologies through available resources.
12. Completes and submits sales reports on account activity for both existing and prospective customers as required.
13. Keeps company database including customers, prospects, and vendors up to date with proper notation and document attachments. Using Company provided tools (NetSuite)
14. Provides information and/or follows up on customer as requested.
15. Works within the Sales Team environment in order to promote and foster growth for Global-Pak as a company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
