What Part Will You Play?
- Implements data and analytics solutions, through data science techniques, that solve business problems and create business value.
- For complex product offerings, closely works with TSYS partners that provide data science products and services to ensure that data science work being done meets TSYS standards and needs.
- Provides technical guidance and mentoring to business insight managers, as needed.
- Creates and refines real-time analytic models to understand client and/or prospect needs in order to maximize the value of data driven resources
- Applies advanced statistical techniques to understand ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends.
- Leads and executes independent quantitative research projects, leveraging data from multiple sources
- Uses best practices to understand the data and develop statistical, analytical techniques to build models that address business needs.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Quantitative Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar discipline
- Typically Minimum 8 Years Relevant Exp
- Demonstrated experience with sophisticated analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, HiveQL, Spark, Hadoop). Proficiency with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, or JavaScript
- Experience with Product Analytics
- Master's Degree - Quantitative Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar discipline
- Skills / Knowledge - Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept./peer review).
- Job Complexity - Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
- Supervision - Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
