Pay up to $30 / hr
A degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related Scientific / Engineering discipline is required.
Job Requirements :
Would be a plus if the candidate had experience in lab scale batching and formulation of baby care, skin care, and oral care products , solid dose, oral dose products.
Proficient with laboratory Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Plus to be Proficient with the use of basic lab instrumentation skills like Viscometer, pH Meter.
Skilled in technical documentation including writing scientific reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent verbal and written skills
Preferably 6 mos to 1 year experience in care products company formulating Emulsions and Cleansers and at minimum, the candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Science / Engineering.
Open to entry level and will train
Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment while being an individual contributor is required and experience managing multiple projects is required.
Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering
Responsibilities
Qualification of suppliers
Ensure impurities are manageable. The raw materials.
Not a lot of research. Not creating a new product. Will be making a lot of batches.

- Experience in formulation or manufacturing of consumer / pharmaceutical products is highly preferred.
- Experience with consumer products, such as skin care, skin cleansers, hair care, oral care, baby care and / or deodorant products is highly preferred.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment while being an individual contributor required.
- Resolve issues with raw materials / products and processes
- Assess impact of raw material changes to different kinds of formulations
- Execute technical aspects of projects, report metrics, and interact with cross-functional teams
- Batch formulations to assess impact of raw material changes
