Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled 3PL Liaison / Coordinator to facilitate seamless communication between production, sales, and distribution stages, promoting a healthy and efficient supply chain.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between GPC and 3rd Party Logistics companies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Reporting: Report daily shipments to scheduling and shipping departments.
- Email Management: Review all emails regarding shipments, scheduling, and quality issues from shipments.
- Inventory Maintenance: Maintain inventory of all generators and parts crates.
- Scheduling Review: Review incoming and outbound generator schedule with shipping for accurate dates on a daily basis.
- Paperwork Creation: Create all paperwork including labels for all inventoried items.
- Labeling and Inspection: Handle all incoming and outbound generators and label them with correct job numbers.
- Date Verification: Check that all generator dates are correct for receiving. If not, review with sales persons and inform the scheduler of all changes.
- Assistance and Support: Assist with tasks as necessary to complete tasks.
- Production Requirements: Meet company expectations for demanding production requirements and schedules.
- Safety and Accountability: Promote safety and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Logistics Experience: Previous experience in logistics for a minimum of three (3) years.
- Related Experience: Related experience is important, including experience invoicing orders and managing driver paperwork.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Knowledge of supply chain.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve a variety of situations.
- Communication and Teamwork: Able to communicate and work well with others.
