Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
In 2018 we moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility on 51st Street that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as the undisputed leaders in our industry.
As a result of continued growth, we are seeking an IT Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Building and Configuring Computers:
- Assemble and configure desktop computers according to company standards.
- Install and update necessary software, including operating systems and office applications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with desktops, laptops, and peripherals such as printers.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal hardware performance.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and manage hardware and software inventories.
- Develop, maintain, and update Excel spreadsheets for accurate inventory tracking.
- Use Excel for data organization, analysis, and reporting.
- Offer face-to-face, telephonic, and email support to employees.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of computer systems and software
- Knowledge of network and system security
- Familiarity with hardware and software installation
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
