Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of large generator enclosures, modular equipment centers, UL fuel tanks, trailers and platforms.
In 2018 we moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as a leader in our industry.
As a result of our expansion and continued organization growth, we are looking for a motivated Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team.
The supervisor duties will encompass all aspects of the Industrial & Manufacturing Engineer to include, but is not limited to:

The supervisor duties will encompass all aspects of the Industrial & Manufacturing Engineer to include, but is not limited to:
Responsibilities: (What you will be doing)
- Manage the overall project workload of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers and perform supervisory duties for the IE Team
- Work closely with production manager and production supervisors and engage in day-to-day operations related manufacturing performance.
- Review and approve standard work developed by the IE Team ensuring safe, efficient production procedures
- Work closely with safety, compliance, purchasing, design engineering, electrical engineering, facilities, and other internal stakeholders on company needs
- Respond and support Sales actions and inquiries related to manufacturing or onsite customer requirements
- Develop and integrate new processes, new equipment, and related training
- Issue and resolve CAR – internal and external
- Generate and maintain related ISO documentation including forms, procedures, and equipment records
- Lead efforts for Industrial and Manufacturing Continuous Improvement process
- Manage a team to follow close loop plans and complete routine audits
- Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business objectives
Requirements: (What it takes to be successful)
- Experience managing engineers of various backgrounds and strengths
- Involvement in evaluating engineering candidates with HR and building your IE team
- Interest and ability to be very hands-on in support of IE and production related issues
- Ability to scope and manage clear, concise engineering projects in support of management directives
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study and 5 years managing engineers
- Hours subject to vary based on engineering and management needs.
