Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
We are seeking a 1st Shift Mediablaster to blast our large diesel fuel tanks, steel/aluminum enclosures and steel frames.

Responsibilities:
- Set-up parts and sandblast according to directions
- Follow safety rules
- Use personal protective equipment properly
- Follow directions of lead/supervisor
- Participate as team member to meet the demands of the customer
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 2 to 5 years experience sandblasting in a blast booth in an industrial environment
- Ability to be certified and drive forklifts and overhead crane
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Experience as a painter helpful
