Description :
As an Automation Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing designed automation solutions across a wide array of industries and maintaining control systems to ensure the efficient and safe operation of industrial processes. This role involves working with various cross-functional teams to configure control systems improving process performance, reliability, and safety.
The Automation Solutions Specialist is responsible for working with clients and vendors to implement project tasks with the established scope of work in alignment with project goals and objectives under the supervision of project leads or managers. This role requires industrial specific technical knowledge and programming best practices.
Responsibilities :
Handles routine tasks and contributes to projects under technical supervision.
The design and implementation of process control schemes to support existing processes which include process efficiency improvements, optimization, process variability reduction, compliance with environmental and safety requirements and equipment / process reliability.
Hardware and system configuration.
Coordination and implementation of DCS / PLC upgrades and / or new installation / startup
Experience with instrumentation, motor control, regulatory control loop tuning, and advance control processes.
Assist technical groups with process improvement activities and process / maintenance troubleshooting activities.
Responsible for business continuity of process control systems through documentation and training.
Provide technical and maintenance support to existing control system platforms at client facilities.
May be needed to travel less than 25% of the time.
