Director of Operational Technology
Description:
The Manager of Operational Technology oversees the daily operations of the Operational Technology division. This is a customer facing position engaged in a variety of activities across multiple industries. They will be expected to be an excellent representative of the company while implementing processes and procedures that will drive the successful execution of various projects at customer sites.
This position works closely with the Project Management Office (PMO), Managers, Sales Team, and the Executive team to ensure OT projects are completed efficiently and to the customer’s satisfaction. The director role is also responsible for divisional planning, resource development, and ensuring company goals are at the core of all divisional operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates the work of engineering staff.
- Oversees engineering staff and ensures that they meet goals and objectives.
- Recruits additional engineering staff as needed.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Provides training and mentoring as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Consults with Chief Operating Officer and Director of Automation Engineering to create long-range operating and automation goals specific to the organization's needs.
- Develops new products from concept to testing to production.
- Collaborates with the marketing department to determine market potential for new products.
- Oversees progress and timeliness of projects.
- Reviews project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development.
- Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology required; master's degree in engineering, Technology or Business Administration preferred.
- At least 8-10 years of related experience required.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
