Purchasing Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services for the company. ensuring the timely delivery of quality products and maintaining cost efficiency. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage vendor relationships to support the company’s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Procurement & Purchasing:
Process purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
Maintain accurate records of all purchases and transactions.
· Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and adjust orders accordingly.
· Quality Control & Compliance:
Ensure products meet required quality standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
Address any quality issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
· Reporting:
Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, Analyze purchasing trends and recommend improvements.
