Software Controls Engineer
This role will be a part of the Controls Software team and will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of control software to support residential and commercial HVAC products that meet or exceed best-in-class performance and reliability targets across multiple platforms and product families, as well as manufacturing support for existing products.
Experience :
- Familiar with Integrated Development Environments (MP Lab, STM32CubeIDE, etc.)
- Familiar with Programming languages (C, C , assembly, Python, and Visual Basic)
- Familiar with Version Control systems (Git, Vault, Apache, etc.)
- Knowledge of control system design and applications, control theory, and PID design and tuning.
- Knowledge of sequence of operations, software specifications, and electrical wiring methods.
- Knowledge of system controls, sequence of operations and electrical wiring methods.
- Hands-on skills and experience in working with laboratory equipment, test stands and instrumentation.
Familiarity with the New Product Development (NPD) process, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
