The Sales Manager's primary goal is to drive sales revenue and optimize the customer service experience. This role will manage employee and broker results through training, coaching, and mentoring of the sales process. The Sales Manager will work closely with the organization's Sales leadership team to establish the goals for the day/week/month/year and often acts as a client interface and problem solver. As the Sales Manager, they will exercise responsibility for developing and managing business operations that increase sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction.
OBJECTIVES • Lead the sales team in achieving sales revenue goals • Facilitate, track, and evaluate the daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance • Effectively monitor team productivity based on KPIs, using data to improve outcomes • Monitor and manage and prospect opportunities for revenue • Drive revenue and meet targeted quotas • Maintain a record of achieving a high level of Customer Satisfaction • Delegate responsibility and maintain follow-up for assessment of results • Promote, support, and facilitate teamwork and foster a positive environment • Manage all aspects of appointed Lilly's Broker Sales Agencies in defined territory, including Monthly/quarterly business planning, Including daily activity, and distribution coverage. • Train broker sales Team and distributor sales representatives in your assigned territory. • Conducts monthly performance evaluations with Broker Market Managers that are timely and constructive while documenting evaluations to present to the Sales Director • Conducts presentations at Food Shows, Events, and other outward-facing activities • Monitors existing accounts and regularly communicates with primary contacts for the account. • Works to establish new distributors and end-user accounts in the territory. • Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate determined by the Sales Director. . • Assists with coordinating sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives as needed. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
