We are seeking a Senior Contract Engineer - Design Engineer to join our client's team.
US Citizen required Top Requirements :
1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2. Vehicle experience- does not have to be defense vehicles, any type of wheeled vehicle will suffice
3. Strong design experience
- Experience with CREO, Windchill, JDE and Microsoft Office preferred
- Candidate should be well versed in manufacturing processes Role Description :
This position will support the USMC Platform team as a Senior Contract Engineer. Candidates should have experience in mechanical design relating to frame components (weldments and large assemblies), design for manufacturing, and heavy equipment.
In the engineer role the individual will be expected to design components, coordinate with cross functional teams, and be able to follow procedures for routing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). The candidate will also be required to engage with the build process for vehicles and support vehicle testing. Role Requirements :
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
3-5 Years of Experience working with automotive / heavy machinery
Must be a United States Citizen
Ability to be onsite in Oshkosh, WI full time
Ability to travel 10%
